Gambling A To Z: D
It's that time again! Here is the latest article in our A To Z of Gambling series, and this time we're looking over the letter D.

Playing Against a Pre-Flop Raise
You’re playing No Limit Texas Hold’em and you’re dealt a premium hand. A player in front of you opens with a raise. It’s a great feeling, but it’s just as important to play this situation correctly as it is to fold a poor hand or to call when the pot odds are right, if you are to build a bankroll and be a winning poker player in the long term. So what needs to be considered to ensure the hand is played optimally?

Bluffing in Poker
So, you have just placed an audacious bluff on the table, when your partner sitting behind you announces to the world “Why did you do that? You haven´t got anything!” What would you do?

Varying Your Value Bets
Most successful poker players understand the importance of betting for value. In fact, value betting is an absolutely essential skill to learn, if you are to grow your bankroll.

Chips Stacks in Tournaments
When playing in a No Limit Hold’em poker tournament, it is important to keep an eye on your fellow players in order to absorb as much information as possible, which will help make your decisions easier. Paying attention to your rivals, the cards they play and their betting patterns is not the only useful source of information though.

Double Hold'em - Beginner Mistakes
Reaction to the launch of PartyPoker’s innovative new game “Double Hold’em” has been mixed, with many people feeling that this exciting new variation of Texas Hold’em has potential, while many others feel that “Double Hold’em” is merely a gimmick and that PartyPoker should spend more time improving their software for the more regular poker variants.
