Important Poker Tournament Lingo

• Buy-in - the fee for entering the tournament. This amount is added to the prize pool and thus the more players the larger the prize pool.
• Rebuy – A tournament allowing you to top up your chips when the game is already underway. This is benficial if you have some bad luck early on, as you can pay to get more chips and remain in the tournament.
• Guaranteed – if the poker site guarantees that regardless of the number of players in the tournament the prize pool will still be atleast a certain size, the tournament is guaranteed.
