Ephraums takes $1000 NL Holdem in Aussie Millions 2010
Monday, 18 January, 2010The 2010 Aussie Millions kicked off at Melbourne’s Crown Casino on January 14th with a $1,000 + $100 No Limit Hold’em event (all cash values in this post are in Australian Dollars). With three “Day 1” flights and a marathon eighteen-hour long Day 2, a field of 919 unique players – 1,143 players including those who re-bought – took part in the curtain-raising event, which is now Australia’s most sizeable poker tournament to date. Star names included Tony and Joe Hachem, Barny Boatman, Jay Rosenkrantz, Tony Bloom, Tony G and Stewart Scott, winner of last year’s Aussie Millions main event.
