Moving From Live to Online Poker
If you’re looking to make the switch from live to internet poker, be sure to realise there are some major differences between the two. You might be a winning poker player at your local casino, but dipping your toe into the online poker waters for the first time requires adjustment.

Poker Strategy: The Continuation Bet
The "Continuation Bet" is an essential part of any poker player's arsenal, but it is important to get the balance right; use the move too often and it becomes completely ineffective, but use it too little and you will be missing out on your fair share of pots at the poker table. Hopefully, we can help you master the art of continuation bet.

Adjusting From Online Poker To Live Tournaments
Live poker tournaments are great fun and even if you only play your poker on the internet, it is worth making the effort to get to your local card room or casino every once in a while. There are, of course, notable differences between live poker and online poker - here's what to expect when switching from online poker tournaments to the live game, for the first time.

From Online To Live Poker
Thanks to online poker, it is not unusual to encounter players at your local card room or casino that have never played in a live poker tournament before. Many players learn the basics on the internet before dipping their toe into the murky waters of the bricks and mortar casino and they will find live poker more intimidating than the online equivalent.

Double Hold'em - Beginner Mistakes
Reaction to the launch of PartyPoker’s innovative new game “Double Hold’em” has been mixed, with many people feeling that this exciting new variation of Texas Hold’em has potential, while many others feel that “Double Hold’em” is merely a gimmick and that PartyPoker should spend more time improving their software for the more regular poker variants.

Hold'em's Odd(s) Book – gives you an edge
In 1996, Mike Petriv wrote the first fully-comprehensive book on poker odds - "Hold'em's Odd(s) Book – gives you an edge". Its cheap, spiral bound format belies the content between its covers and the book has provided an invaluable source of information for poker players at all stages of their game, the world over.

Freeroll Poker Tournaments
If you're relatively new to poker and you're looking to develop your bankroll, freeroll tournaments provide an excellent opportunity to do so. Free to enter but with real prize money up for grabs, freeroll tournaments are a must for all those poker players looking to add to their bankrolls with minimum outlay. Here's a selection of the best forthcoming freeroll tournaments:
